Telling her honest story to the Australian music scene, Serbian-born singer-songwriter Maja is gaining quite a reputation for her eccentric character and glittering performances. Thought-provoking and deeply-personal, the music comes together to highlight Maja’s fierce vocal performance and direct song-writing style. Her diverse range of styles channel the likes of Otis Redding, Laura Marling and Fiona Apple. In 2016, Maja released her self-titled debut EP; combining lush string arrangements, heart-felt melodies and soulful grooves. Meanwhile, her latest single “Hurting Now” was accompanied by an East Coast tour. This year, Maja will be releasing her second EP and touring Australia wide.
