Born in the beautiful forests of Gippsland in Victoria (Australia) Stephen was soon inspired by his father’s country records. At fifteen he began playing acoustic guitar and harmonica.

Launching his first EP 'Wheel of life' in 2006, he then performed 'Wheel of life' and 'Gondwanaland' as key songs for "Songs to Change the world by" at the Woodford Festival 06/07. Stephen's second EP 'Inside Out' was released in 2008.

The debut album, 'Good Things Take Time' was officially released on iTunes April 2015. Good Things Take Time went to #15 on the Australian iTunes Singer/songwriter charts in July of this year. The album also features Hamish Davidson (of the Davidson Brothers) on violin. 

Stephen was recently a featured artist on channel 9's  'The Voice' where he was chosen for Team Delta and gave some sterling performances over 3 episodes to a nation wide TV audience.

Influences include; Cat Stevens, Neil young, Ben Harper, Van Morrison, Paul Simon, Taj Mahal, John Butler and Crowded House.
